Hi, my name is Turine Hicks and I am the Director of The Tree of Knowledge Daycare Center in Sanford.
Although, my first calling is as a wife, mother of three wonderful children, and grandmother, I have always had a passion for child care.
For over 20 years I have been involved in this field. During the first five years I owned and operated a child care facility out of my home.
For the next 15 years I directed a daycare and pre-school program at a local private school. I remained there until June of 2018.
Currently I am continuing my formal education in childcare administration at Central Carolina Community College.
I can truly say, over the past two decades that I have served in this capacity, my real accolades and accomplishments have come from the lives of the parents and students that I have been able to positively impact.
When asked why I do this, I reply… “It is my heart’s desire is to see each child reach their full potential…and my greatest joy is being a part of that process.”
